I've heard good things about those plugins, so if you are entitled to them somehow, it's worth pursuing - but only if you're willing to get the full version of pro tools (and an iLok).

They usually have a code written on a card that you'd need to put onto their download page, but maybe you could redeem using a serial number or something - I'd check their website's FAQ/Support, or try a google search for other people in a similar situation. I can't talk to the focusrite plugin elibibility. Then, there are heaps of free or cheap alternatives out there for pro tools - but you'll require the full version of pro tools, which you can get for $10-12 a month on a subscription plan - plus $20-30 for an iLok.

My advice would be to learn how to use whats included for free (check out the recording revolution youtube channel on mixing with stock plugins. It's a bit crap because you are stuck with only the pro tools stock plugins, but it's also good because they are pretty good and you get them (and pro tools) for free. Unfortunately with pro tools first, you are limited to plugins from the Avid store.
